Sour prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Sour in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 8 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
A sour prefilled pod from the cheapest options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.05 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Sour in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sour in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.05 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does sour in a prefilled pod last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
