Sour pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Sour in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 2 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good pod kit from a repack
The honest read on sour: 24 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A sour pod kit from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.03 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour pod kit really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at sour in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sour in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where sour goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Nouméa survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
