Sour 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Sour in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 8 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a 30 ml shortfill for sour
Sour 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Sour sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
Sour in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sour in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.44 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
