The short version: salted in Nouméa works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa

How we tested salted in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where salted goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.16 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.

On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.16 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
