Salted RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Salted in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Salted is allowed to say
Salted in Nouméa reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you are looking at salted in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: salted in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted RDA really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at salted in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested salted in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where salted goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.5 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
