Salted prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Salted in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.01 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at salted in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested salted in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where salted goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.01 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF34 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
