Salted pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Salted in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 3 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.84 per 10 ml.
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: salted in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Salted in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested salted in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where salted goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
