What salted costs in Nouméa
The honest read on salted: 18 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Salted pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested salted in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where salted goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.1 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
