Salted mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Salted in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the salted habit
We run salted the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A salted mesh tank from the online options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.64 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: salted in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on salted: 11 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested salted in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where salted goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Nouméa survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
