Salted e-liquid bundle IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Salted in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, e-liquid bundle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with salted in New Caledonia
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.0 per 10 ml.
The honest read on salted: 23 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: salted in Nouméa works if the e-liquid bundle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted e-liquid bundle really costs in Nouméa
We run salted the same way in Nouméa: same e-liquid bundle, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested salted in a e-liquid bundle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a e-liquid bundle arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for e-liquid bundle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where salted goes wrong
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.0 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.0 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Is salted legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the e-liquid bundle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
