Salted box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Salted in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a box mod for salted
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
A salted box mod from the compared options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.22 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted box mod really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on salted: 20 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested salted in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where salted goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.22 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for salted in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does salted in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.22 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
