Plum squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A plum squonk mod from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.91 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at plum in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: plum in Nouméa works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Plum in Nouméa reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plum in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where plum goes wrong
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
