Plum RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum RDA really costs in Nouméa
We run plum the same way in Nouméa: same RDA, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested plum in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plum goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for plum in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.9 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF32 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
