What a plum RDA really costs in Nouméa
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.28 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where plum goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.28 per 10 ml.
