Plum RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Plum is allowed to say
We run plum the same way in Nouméa: same RDA, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on plum: 10 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum RDA really costs in Nouméa
Plum RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plum in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
