Plum pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Plum is allowed to say
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.13 per 10 ml.
A plum pod kit from the discounted options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.13 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum pod kit really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on plum: 21 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.

How long does plum in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
