Plum 100 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Plum in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 4 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good 100 ml bottle from a repack
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a 100 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum 100 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
A plum 100 ml bottle from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.75 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a 100 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plum goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Nouméa survives.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.75 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does plum in a 100 ml bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
