Plain sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Plain in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 9 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plain habit
Plain sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested plain in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plain goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.53 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
