Plain pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Plain in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
We run plain the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Plain pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: plain in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain pen device really costs in Nouméa
Plain in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plain in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where plain goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Nouméa survives.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
