Plain pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Plain in Nouméa: 15 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a pen device for plain
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run plain the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain pen device really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at plain in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plain in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plain goes wrong
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Nouméa survives.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
