Plain cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Plain in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 5 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plain habit
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The honest read on plain: 7 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested plain in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plain goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.04 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Nouméa survives.
