Plain 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Plain in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 3 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Plain 30 ml shortfill here
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you are looking at plain in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
A plain 30 ml shortfill from the cheapest options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.95 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where plain goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Nouméa survives.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
