Plain in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 7 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Plain is allowed to say
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.32 per 10 ml.
The short version: plain in Nouméa works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain 100 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Plain in Nouméa reaches the shelf in 100 ml bottle formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plain in a 100 ml bottle
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plain goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Nouméa survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
