Plain 100 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Plain in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plain habit
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.16 per 10 ml.
Plain in a 100 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain 100 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Plain 100 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plain in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plain goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Nouméa survives.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
