Pear vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 8 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good vape pen from a repack
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.46 per 10 ml.
We run pear the same way in Nouméa: same vape pen, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear vape pen really costs in Nouméa
Pear in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested pear in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where pear goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Nouméa survives.
