Pear starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Pear in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 2 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
We run pear the same way in Nouméa: same starter kit, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Pear in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested pear in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.82 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF60 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does pear in a starter kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
