Pear squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What pear costs in Nouméa
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.17 per 10 ml.
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
We run pear the same way in Nouméa: same squonk mod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested pear in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where pear goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.17 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
