Pear pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
If you are looking at pear in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Pear pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear pen device really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested pear in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.

Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.31 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
