Pear mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Pear in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
A pear mesh tank from the bulk options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.6 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.6 per 10 ml.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at pear in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested pear in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Nouméa survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
