Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
A pear cartomizer from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.53 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run pear the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
A pear cartomizer from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.53 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for pear in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
