Pear in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a cartomizer for pear
A pear cartomizer from the pre-order options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.15 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The honest read on pear: 17 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested pear in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where pear goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
Is pear legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How long does pear in a cartomizer last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
