Pear box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the pear habit
Pear box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear box mod really costs in Nouméa
Pear in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested pear in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Nouméa survives.
