How we tested Pear 60 ml bottle here
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run pear the same way in Nouméa: same 60 ml bottle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, 60 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear 60 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
A pear 60 ml bottle from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.78 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a 60 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where pear goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.78 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
How long does pear in a 60 ml bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a 60 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.78 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
