Pear 10 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Pear in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with pear in New Caledonia
We run pear the same way in Nouméa: same 10 ml bottle, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at pear in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 10 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear 10 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Pear in Nouméa reaches the shelf in 10 ml bottle formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested pear in a 10 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 10 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 10 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.0 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF34 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is pear legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 10 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
