Peach starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Peach in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the peach habit
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Peach prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.32 per 10 ml.
The short version: peach in Nouméa works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a peach starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Peach sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested peach in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every peach bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where peach goes wrong
- Mixing peach with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why peach tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for peach in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does peach taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the peach blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should peach start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On peach the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.32 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
