Passionfruit starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Passionfruit in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 3 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with passionfruit in New Caledonia
Passionfruit starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run passionfruit the same way in Nouméa: same starter kit, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: passionfruit in Nouméa works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a passionfruit starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Passionfruit prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.79 per 10 ml.
How we tested passionfruit in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every passionfruit bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long passionfruit in Nouméa survives.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for passionfruit in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Not automatically. On passionfruit the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.79 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does passionfruit taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the passionfruit blend itself harsh.

On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.79 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF39 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
