Passionfruit prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Passionfruit in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 6 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the passionfruit habit
The honest read on passionfruit: 11 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Passionfruit sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: passionfruit in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a passionfruit prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Passionfruit sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested passionfruit in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing passionfruit with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should passionfruit start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.13 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF28 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does passionfruit in a prefilled pod last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
