Passionfruit pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Passionfruit in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 8 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on passionfruit: 16 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Passionfruit sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a passionfruit pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Passionfruit in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested passionfruit in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.05 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does passionfruit taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the passionfruit blend itself harsh.
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.05 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF39 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does passionfruit in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
