The short version: passionfruit in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a passionfruit box mod really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at passionfruit in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested passionfruit in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a passionfruit bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every passionfruit bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long passionfruit in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.97 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Why does passionfruit taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the passionfruit blend itself harsh.
Is passionfruit legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How long does passionfruit in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
