Nutty starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Nutty in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the nutty habit
If you are looking at nutty in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Nutty in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: nutty in Nouméa works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a nutty starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Nutty prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.59 per 10 ml.
How we tested nutty in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every nutty bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing nutty with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
