Nutty pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Nutty in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a pen device for nutty
Nutty prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.74 per 10 ml.
A nutty pen device from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.74 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a nutty pen device really costs in Nouméa
Nutty sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested nutty in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every nutty bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Mixing nutty with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.74 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does nutty taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the nutty blend itself harsh.
