Nutty cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Nutty in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Nutty prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.96 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at nutty in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a nutty cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
We run nutty the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested nutty in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why nutty tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.96 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does nutty in a cartomizer last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does nutty taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the nutty blend itself harsh.
