Mintice in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Mintice squonk mod here
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
A mintice squonk mod from the online options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.5 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mintice squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested mintice in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a mintice bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Mixing mintice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.5 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.5 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF50 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mintice the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.5 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does mintice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the mintice blend itself harsh.
