The short version: mint in Nouméa works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
A mint sub-ohm kit from the cheapest options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.35 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested mint in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where mint goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.35 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Nouméa survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
