Mint starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Mint in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 3 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What mint costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at mint in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: mint in Nouméa works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Mint starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested mint in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where mint goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
How long does mint in a starter kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
