The short version: mint in Nouméa works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint refill pack really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at mint in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested mint in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where mint goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
