Mint prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Mint in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mint habit
If you are looking at mint in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A mint prefilled pod from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.48 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mint prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Mint in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested mint in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where mint goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mint the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.48 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
