Mint 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Mint in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 6 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mint habit
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.15 per 10 ml.
The honest read on mint: 8 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
Mint in Nouméa reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested mint in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where mint goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.15 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
