Melon sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Melon in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.62 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a melon sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Melon sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested melon in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where melon goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why melon tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
