Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Melon starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.56 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a melon starter kit really costs in Nouméa
A melon starter kit from the compared options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.56 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested melon in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where melon goes wrong
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why melon tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
How long does melon in a starter kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
